15 year old snooker sensation Yuan Sijun has hit our screens today by thrashing Martin Gould 5-0 in the China open, and done so in style making a century break during the process. He also saw off Andrew Higginson in the previous round of the event.
A very confident performance by the kid who didn’t seem to get nervous at all in both matches. He will be hoping to do even better in the next round and turn professional at the soonest time.
The young amateur Chinese player that still attends school, got his ticket to the event through the wild card system. He has previously debuted at the Shanghai masters at just thirteen years of age and also was at this years six red championship.
He is now in the last 32 of the china open and will face the 2006 world champion Graeme Dott.
