To find the best price for Peradon cues, you can look far and wide throughout the internet, as the famous snooker cue maker has many many online sellers. You would think that the prices for their equipment would be fairly similar, but think again!!
Snookercentral did a bit of online research on where to find the best price for Peradon cues. For this experiment, we chose to look up different websites selling one of Peradon’s higher end cues, the Chiltern 1 piece cue. Additionally i must point out that for this experiment, we did not contact Peradon asking for their recommended retail price for this product.
Ok, so we started with a general search on google using the words “Peradon cues.” Now Peradon don’t sell directly it seems, so we skipped the Peradon website and went to the next on the list which was the billiardsboutique.com. Their online shop lists the Chiltern 1 piece snooker cue at £229. One would automatically assume that this must be the best price and most popular seeing as its on the top of google right?
Well frankly the answer is no!!
We then looked at the next listing on google for the Peradon Chiltern cue. abcsnooker.co.uk listed next for the cue, which they are selling for £219. That’s a saving of £10 already!!
Wow, we can’t possibly do any better right? Well lets have a look further down google. Next we found Thurston.co.uk selling the 1 pice Chiltern for £206. Compare this with our first website and you’ll notice a saving of £23.
And now lets compare the next website we found which is homeleisuredirect.com and they sell the 1 piece Chiltern for £187.97 which again compared to our first website, is a saving of £41!!!
Conclusions
Most of this simple research was done on the very first page of google to determine which online retailer had the best price for Peradon cues. The billiard boutique was at the top of google and they sell the Chiltern for £230. I would like to point out here that we found a few other retailers further down google selling for slightly higher prices.
Further down page 1 of google, homeleisuredirect are selling at the cheapest at £187.97. Perhaps with more research, there are further reductions to find throughout google.
Before buying a cue, do your research and try not to buy the first thing you see. You could save yourself a few quid by shopping around!!
