Mark Selby is the current No.1 snooker player in the world. The jester from Leicester (England) has enjoyed being No.1 for the past couple of years.

Mark Selby has been playing professional snooker since 1999 when he turned pro at the age of 16. As a youngster, Selby was tipped by many not good enough to make it in professional snooker which clearly he has proven those sceptics wrong. Selby prides himself on working hard to achieve his goals and to be successful.

Career Highlights

Masters Titles              =3

UK championships     =1

World championship =1

Mark Selby has also played in the world championship final in 2007 which he lost to John Higgins.
