With the World championships now in full swing, we take a look at Parris cues as a choice. It is common knowledge that the vast majority of the top players in the world use John Parris cues.

So why is this?

Well to be more specific, Parris has been known to use the best materials from the best ash and maple, to the most beautiful exotic woods available which are chosen by John Parris himself, all the cues are hand made mostly to order and care and attention is given to each cue before it is given to the customer hence the long waiting lists for a Parris cue. But believe me, these cues are worth waiting for!!

Do they play better than other cues?

In my experience they play far better than any other cue. That being said though, the choice of cue comes down to personal preference, but if you’re looking for 1 manufacturer of cues that has a sublime reputation for craftsmanship and play-ability within the cues, then a Parris cue is the best choice to make.

When buying any piece of equipment, i always like to check out what most of the professionals are using because lets face it, they know best. Even players who don’t use a Parris made cue often have their cues maintained or refurbished by Parris on a regular basis.

If you want a beautiful well made cue specifically designed to your requirements, which will last you a lifetime and more often than not improve your game, then get yourself a Parris cue.

As most of our readers are aware, snookercentral is giving away a Parris special cue worth over £550. If you haven’t already signed up, and sign up to win this fantastic cue where the winner will be announced on final day of the world championships.
