The genius snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan’s new Crime novel ‘Framed’ is due to be released this November which has been a work in progress for the last year.
The plot for Framed focuses on a character named Frankie James who is described as a “young man with a lot on his shoulders”.
Although not entirely accurate to 5 times world snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, the main character Frankie’s life loosely resembles that of Ronnie’s.
Frankie is left parentless at 15, when his mother disappears and his father banged up in prison for armed robbery.
Frankie gets in with some lowlife gangsters and inherits a snooker club in London. From here the plot is set around gangs, violence and theft.
Although not entirely accurate to Ronnie’s real life, the book does have some notable similarities. These include both Ronnie’s parents being sent to prison when he was a teenager.
